I help complex story worlds scale

while preserving their depth, coherence, and meaning.

About

Depth, Coherence, Meaning

My work sits at the intersection of IP development, narrative systems, cultural strategy, Arabic-language expertise, and cross-functional creative production. I help teams turn deep literary, cultural, linguistic, and historical knowledge into practical creative systems: world bibles, lore frameworks, character foundations, narrative wrappers, voice guidance, source-adaptation briefs, review criteria, terminology systems, and decision tools for writers, artists, designers, publishers, marketers, vendors, and external partners.I work at both ends of a story world: helping invent the characters, systems, and narrative conceits that make it feel alive, then stewarding its meaning as it scales across teams, media, languages, and audiences.

Case study

Research Engine

Built and led a research function for a large-scale original fantasy game IP, translating cultural, literary, historical, environmental, and visual research into production-ready guidance for narrative, art, design, localization, marketing, cinematics, trailers, and franchise-facing work. Managed specialist researchers, external experts, budget planning, and 250+ briefs, decks, and knowledge resources.

Much of my work takes place inside NDA-covered creative development environments, so I do not display unreleased assets or proprietary materials here. These case studies focus instead on the transferable problems I help solve: building story-world systems, translating research into production guidance, aligning public-facing IP expression, and helping creative teams preserve depth, coherence, and meaning as a world scales.

Case Study

Bilingual Brand Voice

Helped reframe Arabic-language work as part of the IP’s creative voice rather than a standard localization track. When public-facing Arabic VO missed the quality bar, helped rebuild the script around character voice, tone, accessibility, and audience resonance. The revised VO later tested strongly with Arabic-speaking audiences.

Case Study

From Source Material to Game Logic

Helped translate deep literary and folklore traditions into the foundations of an original story world, shaping conflict, magic systems, relic logic, character meaning, gameplay conceits, and player-facing mythology rather than surface-level references alone. This included narrative wrappers that gave gameplay mechanics a coherent place in the world through lore, theme, reward logic, and production-facing implementation guidance.

Case Study

IP Coherence across surfaces

Advised on public-facing materials spanning trailers, VO, logos, calligraphy, event design, influencer materials, localized marketing copy, and vendor-produced assets. The work focused on keeping story-world voice, IP terminology, lore consistency, brand positioning, Arabic quality, and worldbuilding logic aligned as the IP moved across development, publishing, localization, events, and external partners.

Case Study

Character & Player Fantasy

Developed source-of-truth character material for a core playable hero, including emotional arc, backstory, formative vignettes, combat identity, voice, monologues, barks, and the relationship between player fantasy and character psychology. The work connected a protagonist’s mechanics, wounds, worldview, and team role into a coherent narrative foundation.

How I work

Find the meaning system

What is this world about? What rules govern it? What are its anchors, wounds, voices, and promises?

Translate depth into tools

Briefs, bibles, frameworks, scripts, character foundations, narrative wrappers, terminology, review criteria, and reference systems.

Align the surfaces

Game, VO, marketing, localization, vendors, events, and future media all need to express the same world.

Deepen specificity

Root creative choices in the stories, languages, textures, histories, and internal logic that make the IP feel unmistakably itself.

Connect Character to Play

Align voice, backstory, emotional arc, combat identity, and player fantasy so playable characters feel coherent on the page, in performance, and in systems.

Build for scale

Deliver work that empowers writers, artists, designers, animators, marketers, vendors, and future partners.
